Cashback Fusion

Cashback

Traditionally ‘cashback’ refers to the service provided by some retailers which allows the customers paying by debit card to request for cash when making their purchase. The sum requested is added to the bill. Plainly, it is just another means of accessing the money in your bank account. This is sometimes refferred to as Debit card cashback.
More commonly ‘Cashback’ refers to the money offered to people for buying a product or service. This may be to encourage customers to join a contract lasting a set period of time, namely a fixed number of months or years. This is the case with Mobile Phone Cashback. In some cases it is a lump sum given at the beginning of a term, as with Mortgage Cashback. There is also Credit Card Cashback, where customers are paid a small sum for each time they use their card.
The type of cashback we are interested in are Cashback Websites. In brief, this refers to sites that allow customers to earn cash for making online purchases. These websites earn a commision when purchasing goods and services, and a percentage of this is passed on to the customer. Cashback websites may also provide coupons and discounts. Bigger cashback websites may feature exclusive coupons. Allowing consumers to save even more, by combining the coupons and discounts with the cash back rewards.

Cashback Websites

The cashback website receives payment from the retailer and once the purchase, free trial, or information request is confirmed they pass on a share of this payment to the customer who made the purchase. This allows the cashback site to make a profit on the sale, free trial or information request and the consumer to make back some of the money they originally spent or incase of a free trial or information request earn some money.

The cashback website may place a threshold. Once members reach the threshold they can request to receive a payment from the cashback site. Usually the earnings are paid via BACS or online gift vouchers. However, there are some cashback websites that do not require a threshold.

Cashback sites may offer their customers with further benefits or cash if they refer others to the site. Allowing the cashback website to grow and the customers to build on their cashback.
